Hi sir,
Do among these sentences have different meaning?
In the article, it is written that the usage of "OF" is for specific noun.

All of the students in my class are smart. (semua murid di kelasku pintar)
All the students in my class are smart. (semua murid di kelasku pintar)

All of those books are mine. (semua buku itu punya saya)
All those books are mine. (semua buku itu punya saya)

but I can't find the difference of those sentences. They are like the same in meaning.
How to differentiate the meaning of those sentences sir?

Hi Amalia,

Whether those noun phrases are followed by a singular verb or a plural verb is determined by the noun preceding the preposition OF. If it is a singular noun, the phrase should be followed by a singular verb, but if it's a plural noun, the phrase should be followed by a plural verb.

Examples:

1. A troop of lions enters that village every night. (singular - singular)
2. Two packs of lions enter another near by village every night. (plural - plural)

3. A school of unique fish was seen by a fisherman. (singular - singular)
4. Two schools of unique fish were seen by a fisherman. (plural - plural)
